Please note that all student bookings will roll over to the next term and you will be training on the same day at the same time unless discussed otherwise.
Easter Break: There will be no coaching or programs at Tennis World from Good Friday through Easter Monday ( March 29th – April 1st). Court Hire is available at reduced hours, please check the client portal for bookings!
AO HOLIDAY CAMPS
Discover the ultimate holiday adventure for your aspiring tennis star at Tennis World! Our Hot Shots Camps are specially designed for young players aged 5 to 12, offering an exclusive chance to step onto the same courts used in the United Cup! Week 1: Monday 15th April – Friday 19th April Week 2: Monday 22nd April – Wednesday 24th April Don’t miss your chance to sign up! Single-day bookings – Camps are suitable for players at all stages of learning aged between 5 and 12 years old. Players are grouped according to their age and stage with various levels catered for within the camp
INTERDISTRICT COMPETITION
The 2024 Interdistrict Competition is in its 100th Year and we would be delighted to enter multiple teams representing Tennis World. The Interdistrict Competition will be running on Sunday afternoons, from 12.30pm, at various venues across Sydney. The competition comprises of multiple divisions within multiple events, with juniors being placed into events based off their age at 30th September 2024. This means if you are turning 13 in October 2024, you are eligible to compete in the 12 & Under event for the purposes of this competition. Player’s that do not have a club to represent in the Term 3 Interdistrict Competition or are existing Tennis World Members can express an interest to represent Tennis World. This competition is only suitable for players that are competing in regular competitions and tournaments, it is not suitable for players that are in Blue, Red or Orange Hot Shots classes or competitions. Please ensure you read the conditions below prior to submitting your interest. Once submitting this EOI, you are committing to Tennis World as your first choice. If you change your mind or wish to move to a different team, please contact us prior to making a second commitment as your change of commitment may impact several other players. The competition dates will be as follows: 28th July; 4th, 11th, 18th & 25th August; 8th September. The semi-finals will be 15th September and the Final will be 22nd September (from 9am). Tennis World will pay the team entry fee, court hire, tennis balls and administrator of the competition as well as provide a venue supervisor for the home matches. The costs that each player are responsible for are as follows: • Tennis World Membership for the duration of the competition (at a minimum Monday 22nd July 2024 to Sunday 22nd September 2024 – players responsibility to cancel after this date if they wish to). From $12 per week. • Tennis World 2024 Team Shirt ($49 per shirt). • Interdistrict Player Commitment Fee ($50 per player). • Providing their own white tennis shorts or white tennis skirt as part of the uniform. To express your interest in being considered for a position within a Tennis World team, please complete this EOI below by no later than 11.59pm on Friday 17th May 2024. Tennis World teams will be announced by Friday 24th May 2024 with those unsuccessful having 2 weeks further to find another team to join.
